Auto Coater
Gem Pharma’s Auto Coater is used to coat tablets, pills, candies, granules, sweets with sugar film, an organic film, or an aqueous coating in the Pharmaceutical and food industry. Gem Pharma is well known for its auto coaters and we also supply auto coaters for soft gel capsule coating. It is a high efficiency, energy saving, safe and clean equipment.
The application of the coating material is done on a continuously rotating bed of tablets through a spray gun. There is a system that also ensures rapid removal of the solvent using a hot air current. Product to be coated is placed in a closed drum, that is in continuous orbital motion, and the coating system sprays the coating material evenly in rotating motion to avoid excess deposit on the tablets. The whole process is completed automatically through PLC Controls and touch screen interface.

Conventional Coating Pan
Gem Pharma manufactures Conventional Coating Pans of various capacities ranging from 12” lab model to 72” conventional model. It is majorly used in pharmaceutical and food and beverage industries for film coating, enteric coating and sugar coating.
• Pan mounted at an inclination of 45 degrees to the horizontal.
• Conforms to cGMP
• Options Available are -
i. Unit with FLP motors and FLP push button station but non FLP panel to be mounted outside FLP area.
ii. Steam heating for blower.
• The whole unit is mounted on Caster Wheel Trolley for ease in movement.
• The Spray gun is provided with inlets for liquid and air connection. The gun is mounted on an adjustable stand, and gun movement in all three planes is possible by adjustment available on the stand. The gun has a spring loaded lever for starting / stopping spraying.
• Spray pattern is achieved without any bed formation.
• Product protective handling to prevent chipping of tablets.
• Extremely user-friendly software and operation through PLC.
